“Our Journey of a thousand miles began with a single step”

our founder

late shree devi das puri ji

It was in the year 1933, Late Shree Devi Das Puri Ji set up oil and a flour mill at a small town called Moga (Punjab). It was a time prior to independence and running a business was extremely difficult. However, with the continuous struggle and fair business dealings, the business reached heights. The products produced earned huge trust among the masses for its purity; therefore, the demand for oil increased even more. For this reason, Devi Das Puri Ji was joined by his sons and the business flourished even more.

The family began to sell their products to various locations in India including Jammu and Kashmir, Sialkot, and Lahore. The offices were also established. Their principles were based on ethical values, integrity, and most importantly purity which is why the trade name was chosen as P Mark—symbolizing purity both in terms of product quality & business dealings.

Soon, Shri Devi Das Puri Ji no longer continued the flour business as he refused to accept profits from people who were affected by 1943-44 famine. After the partition of India, P Mark edible oil became a staple product in every household across India. It was in the 1980s that the Green Revolution changed the agricultural practices and India became self-supporting in terms of food products, therefore, the family decided to undertake wheat flour business.

In 1981, a flour mill was set up at Bari Brahmana in the state of Jammu and Kashmir and they continue to produce and sell their products with the same values and beliefs as procured by their founders.
